Recycling Program for Diskettes, CDs/DVDs and VHS tapes
On April 20, 2007, the Partners for a Green Hill launched a recycling program for diskettes, CDs/DVDs and VHS tapes.
This recycling program is part of a true end-of-life recycling program, which means that all materials are reclaimed and nothing goes to a landfill.
The contents of the items will remain confidential.
All items will be placed in secure containers before being sent for shredding. Additionally, all VHS tapes will be erased before being sent for recycling.
Through this recycling program, the Partners for a Green Hill aim to ‘’lead by example’’ by reducing or eliminating e-waste from landfills and by reducing the overall volume of general waste originating from the partner organizations.
